Life and Art are interlinked and inseparable.

Life is a creative act and I am eager to understand the meaning of life and the possibilities of art to enhance life, and to challenge our beliefs and encourage our growth.

I am an artist and a traveler living in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

  1. Hi,I got a dzi it is the old one it doesn’t have a eye it’s size is small I didn’t got a expert person to find it

    • Dear Dorji Tsering,
I do not trade in Dzi, I wrote an article on the subject of the importance and value of those mythical Tibetan Dzi Agate Beads, which are not very known to the rest of the world.

I know that there are many traders and the value change drastically based on who trades them.
Original old Dzi, even a broken one with no eyes, can still be valuable.

They trade between a few hundred dollars to thousands of dollars.
If you find a trader who sell them online, you can send them a photo and if you know the history of your Dzi, then maybe they will be able to get you a valuation.

      I hope this helps,
With warm regards and Tashi Delek,
      Tali Landsman

  2. Hi Tali. I obtained my first painting/print by you. It is titled urban monkeys. Can you tell me what year were they made and if you know how much more or less it is worth. Inside the frame you I found you dedicated it to Marci.

    🙂 Jannette

  3. Nice to meet you! You seem to be a very woldly and wonderful person. Following your blog 🙂 Mongolian friend

    • Hi Bill,
      Great to hear from you!
I hope all is well with you and yours.
I can’t imagine why you think you owe me an apology.
I have only good memories of you and the ideas we shared.
You let me read a soulful and beautiful poem that you wrote to your wife, and you said some wise words about love and life….
      Overall, a pretty cool guy.
      Many Blessings,
      Tali

      • …and you continue, Tali, with another positive response. Without going into detail, and for whatever reason, I became competitive with you…thinking some of your posts, not necessarily to me, were fashioned primarily to gain some degree of social media notoriety. Sorry, ’bout that. I’ve since learned to recognize the bungee-jump path through life.
All is well here, as I wish for you. I’ve retired since our past communications and, perhaps, inspired by your effervescent force, have written a couple of books. They’re on Amazon but self-published. I’m flattered that you remember the poem.
I appreciate you’re responding to my post and would be tickled if we could occasionally continue our, one time, budding friendship.
        Bill

  4. I just signed up to ‘follow’ your blog. Not sure what I’m getting into…uncharted territory for me. I figured maybe we can cross swords again…maybe plastic ones:)

  5. Tali,
Do you still own a place or visit Sweetwater? I have property here and live from here year round and love the area. You may know that we are working to preserve the lake, caves, and surrounding area from private development. (pro’s/con’s) We’re optimistic to make it a special place for people to visit and hope to preserve things in the process.

    • Dear Derrick,
Thank you so much for your message. Yes, we have been living in Sweetwater for the past 16 years.
We love it here in the mountains.
Yes, we also are hopeful that the Sweetwater lake will become a community open park area.
      Let us hope so!
      Best wishes,
      Tali

  6. Hi Tali. Been wondering what you and Jules have been doing . We are in New Mexico on holiday on way to NZ . Maybe visit Kohukohu.

    • Hi Mike and Amy,
So good to hear from you!
We are in Colorado, but leaving very soon to go on a two months trip to dive in Zanzibar.
Hope you are enjoying beautiful New Mexico and bracing yourselves for quarantine in NZ….
      With love and friendship,
      Tali and Jules

  7. Greetings Tali –

I acquired a litho of “the Dancer’s Studio” at a shop that was closing down in my neighborhood here in the Midwest – STL region. The litho has Tali Reiss but the mat has Tali Landsman. From my research, I do believe it may have been from the early 2000s at a local art show here in the midwest. I’m delighted to bring your work into my orbit and hope to acquire one of your more recent works in the near future. Brandy Bryson
