A sketchbook is a visual journal in which to explores ideas.
It is a place of of exploration and brainstorming. A place to practice, to collect ideas, and to plan and develop my artistic voice.
In this series, I enlarged my sketchbook to canvases. I filled them with free charcoal drawings, oil sticks, playful doodling and pencil exercises.
I view the surface of this sketchbook as a place to experiment, to be silly and happy and to allow myself to be playful as well as exploring my inadequacies and fears.
“My team and I enjoyed getting to know your work.
I like your combination of doodles, graffiti, Keith Haring influences and formal figure drawings and the way these disparate elements interact in your sketchbook series” – Adam Lerner Director of MCA Denver (Museum Of Contemporary Art Denver )
Hi Tali, how much is your “Stretch” piece? Thanks!
